13 weeks in West Africa. And many countries to visit: Morocco and Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea and Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, Nigeria and Cameroun.
Travel through parts of the Sahara and camp behind sand dunes in Mauritania. Visit mountain regions in Morocco and Guinea and see the rain forest in Cameroun as well as the northern and the southern Sahel. Make yourself a picture of famous places and regions such as Mopti and Dogon country. Visit Ganvie, the stilt village on the Nokoue Lake in Benin and the game reserves and the animal kingdom in Benin and Cameroun.
The people’s zest for life, lively metropolitan cities and secluded villages. Experience all of this and much, much more. This trip teaches you to understand West Africa – and to love it.

This trip corresponds to the same sequence of trips as offered in our individual trips. Of course, the resting days between the individual trips (usually 2 - 3 days), as well as the connecting trip from Benin to Cameroun passing Nigeria, is included in the price.

We will not be cooking on the days of rest. But you are welcome to use the kitchen on board. Or visit one of the many local small restaurants. We will be paying your camping fees.

You don’t have to pay a “local payment”. Beside the visa fees there are no hidden costs. All of our excursions and the most of our meals are included in the tour price.
